History of COCM

The late founder Pastor Stephen Wang began the gospel ministry among the Chinese in 1950 in which year the Chinese Church in London was established. In 1961, COCM was registered in the UK as a charity. Church planting was an integral part of the early ministry. Pioneer workers would establish CCF's, mostly made up of students, around the UK. Eventually, COCM would assist them in establishing a constitution and helping them to become churches.

Over the years, COCM has published various publications to promote the work. There has also been an increase in the work in Europe. With the development of the Training Department, Youth Department, and Intercessory Prayer Department, COCM prepares itself for the future.
